Our story
It started on a weekend trip.
We'd hired an EV, booked an Airbnb, and were ready to explore, until we hit a snag: no charger, and the nearest public point was miles away.
We plugged into a wall socket, but it felt… awkward. Did we need to ask the host's permission? How much electricity were we using? How much should we pay?
That small moment showed a bigger problem. Charging at short-term rentals needs to be easier.
So we built Yoink.
